A Comfortable Setting
Many of the visitors to Cinque Terre come to walk the trails that connect the five villages together. The cinque terre national park trail is the most popular, but there are many more trails to choose from that are just as nice, if not nicer. You can check out the different trail on the national park website:
L’Antica Terrazza was established in 2004. The building it resides in has been in the family of the current owner Raffaella Pisanelli for many generations. Apart from restructuring and renovating the inside completely, it is the facade of the building that makes it stand out. Old and worn-out designs were re-constructed and the hand painted art work really brings the building back to its old splendor.
L’Antica Terrazza is located in one of the older buildings in Monterosso, which can be traced back to the middle of the 16th century. It is now renovated both inside and out.
All rooms are smoking-free and have windows/balcony doors. They are all equipped with air-condition, a double bed, television with international channels, WI-FI, and private bathroom with shower and hair-dryer.
There is also wi-fi in all the rooms.
Monterosso and Vernazza are the only two Cinque Terre towns which can offer access into the Mediterranean ocean by beach. The Monterosso waterfront is by far the longest. A morning or afternoon swim is just fantastic.
There is no doubt that most people that visit Cinque Terre also want to try the local cuisine and produce. The best wine from Cinque Terre is generally the white, and as most of the local food is seafood, its a good match.
